TourBuilt Lab opened in 2017 with a simple idea: every club should be built to spec, not pulled from stock. Nearly a decade later, that's still the whole business.
From a Single Build Bay to a Full Studio
TourBuilt Lab started in a single bay with one launch monitor and a small shaft wall. Our founder had spent years building clubs for a major manufacturer's tour van and kept running into the same problem: recreational golfers rarely had access to the same data-driven fitting process tour players took for granted.
Today the studio has grown into a full fitting bay with a complete demo fleet, an in-house build shop, and a team of fitters who each bring their own specialty — from driver optimization to putter stroke analysis. What hasn't changed is the commitment to staying brand-independent and letting the numbers make the call.
Three Rules Our Build Shop Doesn't Break
- Data over opinion. Every recommendation traces back to a specific number from your session.
- Independence over quota. We're not owned by or beholden to any single manufacturer.
- Craft over shortcuts. Every club is built and verified in-house, not outsourced to a factory queue.

What's Inside Our Fitting Bay
A Doppler-radar launch monitor, an indoor hitting bay with impact screen, a shaft wall spanning dozens of profiles, a full demo fleet across major head manufacturers, and an in-house build shop with a frequency machine and swing-weight scale — everything needed to go from data to finished clubs without leaving the building.
